Man Found Fatally Shot at 12600 Bissonnet


July 8, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 12600 Bissonnet about 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday (July 7).


The male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.


HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Bush, Senior Police Officer B. Evans and Officer T. Andrade reported:


Patrol officers responded to a report of a person down in the 12600 block of Bissonnet.  The victim was found deceased in a grassy area behind a shopping center.  It is believed that at approximately 11 p.m. on Tuesday (July 6) the victim was shot in the adjacent apartment complex on 12615 Brookglade Circle, when he then jumped a wooden privacy fence into the grassy area where he was found. 


There are no known suspects nor motive at this time.
