Investigation into Female's Death at 3200 Newhoff

July 9, 2010 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 3200 Newhoff about 3:30 p.m. on Thursday (July 8).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Officer B. Oxspring reported:

Officers were dispatched to an abandoned house on reports a female was inside.  The officers found the female deceased with visible head injuries.

There are no known witnesses or suspects in the investigation at this time.
