Composite Sketch of Suspect in Robbery Investigation


November 23, 2010 - Investigators in the Houston Police Department Robbery Division have released a composite sketch of a robbery suspect wanted in the shooting of a man at 10400 Northwest Freeway (U. S. Highway 290) about 11 p.m. on Nov. 13.

The suspect is described only as a black male in his early 30s, about 6 feet tall, with an average build.  A composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release.

The male victim, 40, was in the drive-through of a fast food restaurant when he was approached by a suspect armed with a gun.  The suspect then demanded money from the victim.  As the victim attempted to drive away from the location, the suspect shot the victim in the face.  The victim managed to drive himself to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

At 1:30 p.m. TODAY (Tuesday, Nov. 23), an investigator in the HPD Robbery Division will be avaialble to answer questions regarding this case at the North Patrol Station, 9455 West Montgomery Road.
