Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6800 Sway


October 4, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6800 Sway about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 3).

The victim, Robert Hall, 22, of Missouri City, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second male victim, 35, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.C. Padilla and Senior Police Officer R.L. Bolton reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the intersection of Rockwell and Roberson. Upon arrival, the officers found one male shot in the head. The male told the officers he had been carjacked and provided a description of his vehicle. About 10 minutes later, a wrecker driver notified officers that the vehicle had been located several blocks away at 6800 Sway. Officers went to the scene and discovered the male’s friend, Mr. Hall, deceased and lying in front of the vehicle.
