Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 6800 Sway


October 8, 2010 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 6800 Sway about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 3).

Frankie Rayshawn Hill-Turner (b/m, DOB: 11-28-90) is charged with murder and aggravated robbery in a Fort Bend County Court. A photo of the suspect is attached to this news release. He is accused in the death of Robert Deleon Hall, 22, of Missouri City, who suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Hill-Turner is also charged in the shooting of a second male victim, 35, who suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.C. Padilla and Senior Police Officer R.L. Bolton reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the intersection of Rockwell and Roberson. Upon arrival, the officers found one male shot in the head. The male told the officers he had been carjacked and provided a description of his vehicle. About 10 minutes later, a wrecker driver notified officers that the vehicle had been located several blocks away at 6800 Sway. Officers went to the scene and discovered the male's friend, Mr. Hall, deceased and lying in front of the vehicle.

After receiving several anonymous tips from Crime Stoppers, investigators were able to identify a suspect, Hill-Turner, who was positively identified by the surviving victim. On Wednesday (Oct. 6), Hill-Turner was arrested without incident in Fort Bend County. He subsequently confessed to his role in the shooting of both men.
