Victim Identified in Incident at 1600 Louisiana


October 19, 2010 - Houston police have learned the identity of a woman found deceased at 1600 Louisiana about 5:10 p.m. on Oct. 10.

The victim, identified as Carol Flood, 62, homeless, suffered neck trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R.J. Rohling and Officer N.K. Wackman reported:

Houston police officers, responding to a reported public lewdness call in the 600 block of Pease, arrived to find a black female, later positively identified as Ms. Flood, lying in a stairwell, unresponsive, near the southwest corner of a nearby building.

There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time.
