Investigation Into Male's Death at 2202 Hutchins

October 28, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 2202 Hutchins about 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 27).

The victim, age unknown, suffered blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Meeler and Senior Police Officer J. Selvera reported:

A family member of the victim contacted police after she had not seen or heard from him since Sunday (Oct. 24). South Central Patrol officers responded, entered the residence and found the victim deceased. It has not been determined at this time if the victim lived at the location.

The victim's 2005 white, four-door Hyundai Elantra, Texas license plates 097-GNJ, is missing and believed stolen.
