Fatal Stabbing at 6800 Waltrip


April 18, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 6800 Waltrip about 10:35 p.m. on Sunday (April 17).

The victim, Courtney Bell, 28, of Houston, suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Meek and R. Lujan reported:

Patrol officers responded to a stabbing call at the above location and found Mr. Bell lying on the driveway of his residence. Further investigation determined Bell and two unknown male suspects got into a physical fight and, at some point during the fight, Bell was stabbed. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction immediately after the incident.
