Mr. Jones' dog allegedly bit Hinton on his leg during a party at 3008 Truxillo.  Hinton confronted Jones regarding the dog bite and both became involved in a disturbance.  After the disturbance Hinton left the residence and returned a short time later with a pistol.  Hinton began to accost Jones and then fired multiple times, striking the victim and two other males.  The two males were transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where one was treated and released and the second underwent surgery for non life-threatening injuries.

Hinton then fled the scene in an unknown direction, driving a 2000, white Chevrolet Impala, Texas license plates #BL2-B827.
