Suicide of Murder Suspect at 1803 Hidden Valley

December 16, 2011 - A male wanted on murder charges in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at 1803 Hidden Valley about 9 a.m. today.


The male, Terencio Ladios-Turcio (w/m, DOB: 4-29-70), suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Odom and Senior Police Officer R. Cervantes reported:

Members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force learned the location of a suspect (Ladios-Turcio) wanted for two murders that occurred earlier this week in Tulsa, OK. When task force members forced entry into the residence at the above location, the suspect fatally shot himself in the head.

No law enforcement officers discharged their weapons nor were injured.

As is standard when someone dies in the presence of a police officer(s) in the city limits, the incident is being investigated by the Homicide Division as an in-custody death.
