The victim was driving a black Jeep on the inbound lanes of the Northwest Freeway when an 18-wheeler behind the Jeep noticed the Jeep pull over to the right shoulder of the freeway.  The Jeep then suddenly veered to the left and was struck by the 18-wheeler.  The victim was transported to an area hospital and pronounced dead.  A front seat passenger, 36, was treated and released.  Two backseat passengers, 4 and 12-year-old boys, were transported to Texas Children's Hospital, where the older victim is in critical condition.  The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.  There were no indications alcohol was involved in the accident.
