Fatal Shooting at 8370 North Houston Rosslyn


January 31, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8370 North Houston Rosslyn about 3:20 a.m. today (Jan. 31).

The victim, in his 20s, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Tolls and Officer T. Andrade reported:

Patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the La Pantera Bar at the above location and found the victim deceased inside the business.  Further investigation determined there had been a prior disturbance inside the bar and, at some point, shots were fired.

There are no known suspects at this time.
