Suspect Miguel Rodriguez

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. W. Bearden and Officer D. S. Schlichter reported:

Zepeta-Rodriguez was driving a gray Ford Explorer westbound on Westheimer and approaching Westerland when his vehicle suddenly crossed the center median. The Ford then struck a maroon Plymouth Voyager, driven by Ms. Martinez, head on. Zepeta-Rodriguez was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in stable condition with broken bones. According to a witness, Zepeta-Rodriguez appeared to have suffered a seizure that led to the crash.
