Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 501 Greens Road

June 15, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 501 Greens Road about 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday (June 14).

The male victim, Chase Angelo Hawkins, 20, of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the back. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Semmelrock and Senior Police Officer C. Abbey reported:

Mr. Hawkins left his friend's apartment at the Durham at City View Apartment Complex, at the above address, to meet another friend. Shortly after exiting the apartment, Hawkins was shot and then chased to the 100 bock of Green Chase Drive, where he was found. Witnesses reported seeing a white or tan colored, four-door, older model Buick or Cadillac fleeing the location westbound on Greens Road.
