Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 6916 Jensen


March 3, 2011 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in locating a man charged and wanted in the fatal shooting of a female at 6916 Jensen about 4 a.m. on Saturday (Feb. 26).

Jerald Patrick Williams (b/m, DOB: 1-12-92) is charged with murder in the 351st State District Court.  He currently remains at large.  A photo of Williams is attached to this news release.

The victim, Quintana Patterson, 18, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital.  Doctors pronounced her dead on Sunday (Feb. 27).

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Countryman and Officer J. Cornelius reported:

Ms. Patterson had just left the Takeover Club, at 2817 Bennington, and was standing in an adjacent parking lot at the above address,  when an unknown black male began shooting.  The suspect was then seen getting into an unknown white car and fled the scene.

Further investigation identified Jerald Patrick Williams as the shooter in this case.  Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
