Fatal Stabbing at 1640 Blalock


March 28, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 1640 Blalock about 7:35 a.m. on Sunday (March 27).

The victim, 40 to 45 years of age, suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. L. Meeler and Officer J. L. French reported:

A resident of the Pineshadows Apartments found the victim lying in the center of the complex and called 9-1-1.  HFD emergency personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead.  HPD homicide investigators responded to the scene and, after further investigation, determined the victim had walked for some distance before he collapsed in the complex.

At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
