May 2, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10101 Forum Park Drive about 6:40 a.m. on Sunday (May 1).

The victim, Kendrick Anthony Ross, 20, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N.T. Ruland and Senior Police Officer B. W. Nabors reported:

A tenant of the Forum Plaza Apartments heard arguing followed by a gunshot.  The tenant came down the sidewalk and saw an unknown suspect running from the area where Mr. Ross was lying.  HPD patrol officers and HFD emergency personnel responded to the scene and found Ross had been shot and was unresponsive.  HFD paramedics pronounced Ross dead at the scene.
