2nd UPDATE: Suspects Arrested, Charged in Man's Death at 700 Franklin


May 31, 2011 - Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in the death of a man found at 700 Franklin about 6:50 a.m. on May 21.

The suspects, Timothy Lee Berry (b/m, DOB: 3-4-65) and Luis Felipe Andujar (H/m, DOB: 1-26-70), are charged with capital murder in the 176th State District Court.  Both are accused in the death of David Henry Watson, 43, of Houston.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants E. Cisneros and C. Howard reported:

A passerby found the body of Mr. Watson in the bayou and alerted the police.  The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences conducted an autopsy and ruled Watson's cause of death a homicide.  At that time, there were no suspects in the case.

Further investigation developed information that identified Berry and Andujar as suspects in this case and both were subsequently arrested without incident.
