Fatal Shooting at 10710 Harwin Drive

November 29, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10710 Harwin Drive about 11:15 a.m. on Monday (Nov. 28).

The victim, 28, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant O. Chandler and Senior Police Officer J. Johnston reported:

The victim was at a car wash at the above location when he was approached and assaulted by two unknown male suspects who attempted to rob him.  At some point, the victim tried to get away and was shot by one of the suspects.  The victim was then transported to the hospital.

One suspect is described only as a Hispanic male wearing a light gray hoodie, blue jeans and sunglasses.  The other is described only as a black male wearing a dark-colored hoodie.
