Fatal Shooting at 6600 Ashcroft

October 3, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 6600 Ashcroft about 2:15 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 2).

The victim, Victor Molinares, 30, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he died from his injuries.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Chandler and Senior Police Officer R. Bolton reported:

Witnesses found Mr. Molinares lying on the side of the road in the 6600 block of Ashcroft and called 9-1-1. Patrol officers responded to the scene and spoke to Molinares, who managed to tell officers he had been shot several times.

There are no known suspects at this time.
