Person of Interest Sought in Fatal Shooting at 11755 Southlake Drive

October 21, 2011 - Houston police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at 11755 Southlake Drive #2803 about noon on Thursday (Oct. 20).

Freddie Clark, Jr. (b/m, DOB: 12-15-82) is wanted for questioning in this incident. A photo of Clark, who is wanted on a parole violation out of Harris County, is attached to this news release.

The victim, 47, of the above address, suffered a gunshot wound to the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Meeler and Officers J. French and K. McDonald reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the Crescent Park Apartments at the above location and found the victim deceased in the living room of his apartment. Further investigation and witness statements identified Clark as a person of interest in this case.
