October 24, 2011 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 2335 Cumberland Oak Court about 4:30 p.m. last Friday (Oct. 21).

The female victim, 4, of the above address, was transported by Life Flight Helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Park and Officer D. Nguyen reported:

Witnesses tell police a woman was backing out of her driveway in a black Ford Expedition when her daughter (the victim) ran directly behind the vehicleand was struck.
