Suspect Sought in May 2011 Murder Case

April 2, 2012 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of two others at 7550 Long Point Road #41 about 12:15 a.m. on May 2, 2011.

The suspect, Pedro Rodriguez (H/m, DOB: 12-1-78), is charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault in the 230th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Victor Ramirez, 43, of the above address. Ramirez suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital. A second male was also shot multiple times and was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. The third victim was hospitalized in stable condition after suffering one gunshot wound.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Senior Police Officer P. Vela reported:

Mr. Ramirez, Rodriguez and two other adult males were at the above location and got into an argument. At some point during the argument, Rodriguez produced a gun and shot Ramirez and the other two men. Rodriguez then fled the scene.
