Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 1400 East 34th Street

April 16, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1400 East 34th Street about 1:40 a.m. on Sunday (April 15).


The victim, Damien Goss, 30, of Houston, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rohling and Senior Police Officer B. Nabors reported:

Mr. Goss was in his vehicle and had stopped at the above location to pull into a driveway. An unknown suspect, in a late model dark gray or black Chevrolet Impala, pulled up next to Goss' car facing the opposite direction. Both men spoke briefly before the suspect shot Goss once. Goss was then taken by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
