Fatal Shooting at 327 San Fernando

April 23, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 327 San Fernando about 9 p.m. on Sunday (April 22).


The victim, 26, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Cardenas, M. Burrow and J. Dominguez reported:

The victim and his family members returned home and were confronted in their driveway by an unknown male suspect. At some point during the robbery, the victim was shot several times near his vehicle. The suspect then fled in a white car.

The suspect is described only as a tall, stocky black male in his 20s or 30s. He was wearing a gray stocking cap.
