Investigation into Fatal Shooting 12703 Dairy Brook

February 13, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 12703 Dairy Brook about 6 a.m. on Sunday (Feb. 12).

The male victim, age unknown, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Senior Police Officer P. Vela reported:

HPD patrol officers investigating a separate incident were informed by witnesses that there was a body in the backyard of a vacant duplex at the above address.  The victim, believed to be an Asian male, was found wearing only a single sock.  A 1997 Honda Civic, believed to be related to the incident, was also found nearby.
