Fatal Shooting at 503 El Dorado Boulevard

February 2, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 503 El Dorado Boulevard about 12:50 a.m. today.


The victim, Napoleon Washington, 28, of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. R. Elsbury and Officer R. P. Martinez reported:

At about 12:50 a.m. , a witness heard several gunshots and then called police to report a discharge of firearms. As the witness waited near the street for police to arrive, Mr. Washington was heard moaning in the parking lot of the apartment complex. The witness then called police again and gave Washington's exact location. He was then transported to the hospital where he died.

At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
