Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Traffic Accident at 4600 South Sam Houston Parkway

November 8, 2012 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a fatal traffic accident at 4600 South Sam Houston Parkway service road about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 6). 

The suspect, Pamela C. Dixon (b/f, DOB: 7-28-68), is charged with intoxication manslaughter in the 183rd State District Court.  A photo of Dixon is attached to this news release. 

The victim, Alan Jeffrey Mininni, 26, of Sugarland, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Usher and Senior Police Officer J. Mushinski reported: 

Mr. Mininni was driving a white Ford F-250 westbound, towing a trailer and stopped in the center lane of the South Sam Houston Parkway service road, possibly stalled.  As Mininni was standing outside his vehicle, the trailer was struck by a silver Honda Accord, driven by Dixon.  Mininni was critically injured and transported to the hospital where he died.  Dixon was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where she was treated. 

Further investigation determined Dixon was intoxicated and she was taken into custody.
