Suspect Arrested in Fatal Traffic Accident at 7400 Scott Street

September 10, 2012 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a fatal traffic accident at 7400 Scott Street about 1 a.m. today (Sept. 10).

The suspect, Timothy Norman Perry-Price Sr. (b/m, DOB: 11-19-82), is charged with intoxication manslaughter in the 351st State District Court.  A photo of the suspect is attached to this news release.

The identity of the female victim, 51, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Nickerson and Officer D. Ashford reported:

The victim was walking in the median at the above address when a silver Dodge Intrepid traveling southbound on Scott Street left the roadway and struck the victim.  Further investigation determined signs of intoxication on the driver of the Intrepid.  He was taken into custody without incident.
