Man Found Fatally Shot at 6400 Frosty Brook

August 26, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 6400 Frosty Brook about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday (August 24).

The victim, Robert Angel Martinez Alvarez, 50, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Murdock and Officer I. Duplechain reported:

Mr. Alvarez and a witness were driving home from an after-hours club on South Gessner when the witness reported that two unknown vehicles approached from behind and began driving erratically. Numerous shots were heard from one or both of the vehicles. The rear window and door of the witness' vehicle were struck and Alvarez, sitting in the front passenger seat of the car, was struck. The witness drove a short distance to a known residence where Alvarez was found unconcious and bleeding. Paramedics arrived and pronounced Alvarez dead at the scene. At this time, there are no known suspect(s) or motive.
