Suspect Charged in 2011 Fatal Shooting at 13333 Northborough

December 3, 2013 - Charges have been filed against a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man at 13333 Northborough about 12:25 a.m. on June 13, 2011.

The suspect, Christopher Williams (b/m, DOB: 9-20-90), is charged with capital murder in the 176th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Nathan Eugene Davis, 44, address unknown. Mr. Davis suffered a gunshot wound to the head and died at the scene.

A photo of Williams, who is in the Harris County jail on an unrelated aggravated robbery charge, is attached to this news release.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants C. Howard and E. Cisneros reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call in the 13300 block of Northborough. Upon arrival, they found Mr. Davis behind a dumpster on the property. HPD homicide investigators opened an investigation. At that time, all possible leads were exhausted.

In August 2013, evidence collected from the scene was entered into the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS) and a match was produced that identified Williams as the suspect in this case. He was subsequently charged for his role in Davis' death.
