December 26, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 10500 Hempstead Road about 1:05 a.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 24).

The identity of the female victim, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Rossman and Officer A. Hart reported:

The victim was driving a black Mercedes E320 westbound when she failed to drive in a single lane and left the road. The Mercedes then rolled over in an adjacent ditch, partially ejecting the woman. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
