January 2, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9677 Bissonnet about 5:50 a.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 1).

The victim, 35, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Meeler and Senior Police Officer J. Sosa reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call outside Cube's Sports Bar at the above address.  When they arrived, they found the victim lying in the parking lot.

Further investigation determined, prior to the shooting, the victim had an argument with several other males inside the club.  Several patrons were inside the club and in the parking lot when the shooting took place, however, they all fled the scene prior to the officers' arrival.
