Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 6425 Bankside

January 4, 2012 - arges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at 6425 Bankside about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 3). 

The suspect, Ulessia Procter (b/f, DOB: 11-24-84), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 208th State District Court.   She is accused in the killing of her boyfriend, Michael Blake Curry, 30 of Houston, who died at the scene.   Pending autopsy results, charges in this case will possibly be upgraded.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Tolls and Senior Police Officer R. Martinez reported: 

Mr. Curry and Procter arrived at a friend's apartment at the above address.  Both then got into an argument that turned into a physical fight inside the apartment.  Curry ran out of the apartment holding his neck and collapsed on the sidewalk in front of the apartment.  A witness saw Procter run out of the apartment, right behind Curry, and then flee the scene on foot.  Procter was taken into custody by HPD homicide investigators in southwest Houston several hours later.
