January 24, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 2930 Fountain View Drive #18 about 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 23).

Eric Dwayne Shears, 43, of the above address, suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers X. Avila and J. Sosa reported:

A family member found Mr. Shears in his apartment.  Paramedics were called and pronounced him deceased.
