Surveillance Video of Wanted Robbery Suspect

Investigators in the Houston Police Department Robbery Division have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in at least five robberies of convenience stores in northwest Houston since November. 

The suspect is described only as a black male between 18 and 45 years of age.

  • Nov. 20, 2012 at 10:50 p.m. - M & M Food Mart - 8788 Hammerly (surveillance video)
  • Nov. 27, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. - 99 and More Store - 8788 Hammerly#G
  • Nov. 29, 2012 at 8:15 p.m. - M & M Convenience Store - 8788 Hammerly (surveillance video)
  • Dec. 3, 2012 at 12:35 p.m. - Blalock Food Mart - 3102 Blalock (surveillance video)
  • Dec. 20, 2012 at 11:05 a.m. - Blalock Food Mart - 3102 Blalock


In each incident, the suspect entered the convenience store and, at gunpoint, demanded money from a store employee.  The suspect then took the money from the register and fled the scene on foot. 
Anyone with information in these cases or on the identity of the wanted suspect is urged to contact the HPD Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. 

At 10 a.m. TODAY (Thursday, Jan. 31), an investigator in the Robbery Division will be available to answer questions regarding this investigation at the HPD Westside Patrol Station, 3203 South Dairy Ashford.
