Investigation into Man's Death at 3715 Sparks

March 12, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man at 3715 Sparks about 3 a.m.. on Monday (March 11). 

The victim, Eloy Montemayor, 38, of the above address, suffered unknown wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Pool, C. Cegielski and Senior Police Officers D. Arnold and M. Coleman reported: 

Mr. Montemayor was celebrating his birthday, along with his mother's, at the above address with several friends and family members.  Most of the attendees left before midnight.  After the party ended early Monday morning, a friend left Montemayor inside the residence with two Hispanic males.  Later that morning, the friend returned to the residence and found the door unlocked.  Montemayor was found lying on the floor.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased. 
Further investigation determined a 1998 red Ford F-150 extended cab pickup truck with Texas license plates BLT-1038 was stolen from the residence.
