May 13, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 4221 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about noon on Sunday (May 12).

The victim, believed to be 30 to 35 years of age, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Dillingham and M. Jewell reported:

The female victim checked into a room with an unknown Hispanic male at the Palace Inn Motel at the above address about 2:25 a.m. on Sunday.  Both went inside the room and the male departed alone soon after.  About noon, motel management entered the room after there was no response to their calls or knocks on the room door.  Drugs and drug paraphernalia were located inside the room.  Investigators would like to speak with the male in this incident.
