Investigation into Body Found at 3500 Texas

May 28, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found burned at 3500 Texas about 3 a.m. on Sunday (May 26).

The female victim's identity and cause of death are pending autopsy results by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Pool and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:

A male was walking home from work when he saw a brush fire in the 3500 block of Texas and called 911.  The Houston Fire Department responded and firefighters found the victim's burned body within the area of the fire.  The investigation is pending autopsy results.
