Investigation into Woman Found Deceased at 5914 Bridlington

October 29, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 5914 Bridlington about 5:30 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 28).

The female, Meghan Hairston, 25, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres, Senior Police Officers D. Shorten and L. Bailey, and Officer I. Ulloa reported:

Ms. Hairston reported an aggravated robbery at her residence last Friday (Oct. 25) in which four unknown suspects forced their way inside and stole several items. Hairston was then taken by the suspects to several ATMs in the area and forceably made to withdraw cash. She was later dropped off unharmed at an unknown location. Last Saturday (Oct. 26), Hairston reported her home had been burglarized by two unknown suspects. In that incident, her 2004 white Chevrolet Malibu was stolen and later recovered on Monday (Oct. 28).

Hairston's family became concerned after not hearing from her since the reported incidents and went to her residence. Her mother went inside and found Hairston unresponsive in a bedroom. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Hairston dead.

The investigation is pending Ms. Hairston's cause of death.
