Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 10100 South Gessner

April 7, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10100 South Gessner about 2:40 p.m. on Saturday (April 5).

The victim, Elijah Williams, 18, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer B. Nabors and Officer J. Rexroad reported:

For unknown reasons, Mr. Williams was involved in a fight nearby with at least one other male. Following the fight, Williams was seen walking south on South Gessner when an unknown male, standing inside the apartment complex at the above address, pointed a pistol at him and fired several times. Williams ran across South Gessner and collapsed at the entrance to a parking lot.
