April 8, 2014 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 100 East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) about 7:10 p.m. on Monday (April 7).
The identity of the male victim, 64, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Vanderbull and Senior Police Officer J. Howard reported:
The victim was traveling on the East freeway exit ramp to the North Freeway in a silver Nissan Versa when he lost control of his vehicle and struck the retaining wall. The vehicle then flipped over and struck a green Ford F150. The victim was ejected from his vehicle and transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Ford F150 was not injured.
