Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 12400 South Gessner

April 15, 2014 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 12400 South Gessner about 8:30 a.m. on Monday (April 14).

The male suffered cuts and abrasions on both hands and near his right eye, but had no other visible signs of trauma. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Rodriguez and Officer M. Burrow reported:

A witness found a male acquaintance deceased behind a dumpster in a convenience store parking lot at the above address. The witness told police the male, who had been living behind the dumpster for the past several weeks, is usually at the store in the mornings but had not been seen on this particular day.
