Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 2515 Fulton

August 28, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 2515 Fulton about 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday (August 27).

The victim, 32, was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Chavez and Officer R. Lujan reported:

The victim was at a fast food restaurant at the above address when he got into an argument with a female. The female then left the restaurant to get her husband. The female returned a short time later with a male believed to be her husband. Both the suspect and the victim got into a heated argument and, according to witnesses, the suspect then stabbed the victim with a knife. The suspect and the female then fled the location on foot shortly after the incident.

The suspect and his wife were later located by investigators and detained for questioning.  No charges have been filed at this time as the investigation is continuing.
