Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 600 Turner Road

December 30, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 600 Turner Road about 10:10 p.m. on Monday (December 29).

The victim, Jorge Luis Gallegos-Lucio, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Officers S. Overstreet and J. Young reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Gallegos-Lucio deceased. According to witnesses, Gallegos-Lucio and his wife were stopped at the intersection of Turner and McGallion when a silver, four-door vehicle, with two male suspects inside, blocked Gallegos-Lucio's vehicle and robbed them at gunpoint. The suspects then shot Gallegos-Lucio and fled the scene in the silver vehicle. Gallegos-Lucio's wife was not injured.

The suspects are described only as two Hispanic males, 20 to 30 years of age. One suspect had a blue bandanna over his face and was carrying a black pistol.
