Investigation into Shooting at 10950 Fullerton

July 1, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man and a woman and apparent suicide of a male suspect at 10950 Fullerton about 7:30 p.m. on Monday (June 30).  

The male suspect suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  The wounded man and woman were transported to area hospitals and are expected to survive.   

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Robles and Officer I. Ulloa reported:  

The female victim got into an argument with the suspect, who is her husband.  As the argument escalated, the woman retrieved a gun and tried to get the suspect to leave the house.  The suspect took the gun from the female and shot her.  The woman's son, who had gone outside to call the police, came back into the residence and was also shot by the suspect.  The suspect then turned the gun on himself.  

The investigation is continuing.
