July 3, 2014 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man found deceased at 4900 State Highway 35 about 9:15 a.m. on June 27.

The male is identified as Ridwan Ayoola Ajala, 18.

HPD Homicide Division Officer R. Lujan reported:

The crew of a train passing over Brays Bayou at the above address observed what appeared to be a body in the water and called police.  Officers arrived and found the body of a black male on the north side of the bayou.

Investigators have determined the male (Ajala) is the suspect who stole a van on June 24, drove it into the bayou (at 4200 South MacGregor), jumped from the vehicle and never resurfaced.
