July 10, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7016 Avenue F about 3:20 a.m. today (July 10).

The victim, Ruben Nuncio, Jr., 37, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Chavez and Senior Police Officer X. Avila reported:

Mr. Nuncio and the suspect got into an argument, at the above address, that ended when the suspect pulled a gun and threatened Nuncio, who left the location.  About one hour later, Nuncio returned to drop off a female friend and one of his cousins.  Nuncio and the suspect got involved in another argument that turned physical.  At some point during the fight, the suspect, described only as a Hispanic male, shot Nuncio and then fled the scene in a silver or gray Chrysler 300.
