June 4, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman and apparent suicide of a male suspect at 12929 Northwest Freeway service road about 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday (June 3).
The female, 34, and male, 41, died at the scene. Their identities are pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers X. Avila and J. Sosa reported:
The male and female were found deceased inside a motel room at the above address. The female suffered a gunshot wound to the head. The male suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Further investigation determined the two deceased are husband and wife and had been involved in domestic issues since 2013.
