Investigation into Body Found at 3506 Seabrook

March 10, 2014 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man whose body was found following a house fire at 3506 Seabrook about 8:20 a.m. on Sunday (March 9).

The identity and cause of death of the victim are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  At this time, foul play is not suspected.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Elliott and Officer I. Duplechain reported:

Houston firefighters responded to a house fire at the above address.  After putting out the fire, the victim was found in a rear bedroom.  Investigators with the HPD Homicide Division and AFD Arson Division are investigating.
